  1. I would normally get 120 FPS with everything maxed. After the patch constant micro stutters that made it feel like 30fps. I have Vsync on, fullscreen off, and fps limiter to off. I set the fps limiter to 60 and it is back to smooth as silk. Thanks for the tip guys.
  2. I am a working family man with few opportunities to play. Now, tail gunners destroy me with radar guided cannons and in 2 hours I am done for the night. Can you guys stop adding lame rules that kill the fun for gods sake! Now in order to play with my group I will have to hope they are on past my 24 hour ban and hope they all have their lives too. Now our bans have to sink up in order for us to fly together. Come on guys. 😤
  3. I still recommend removing the field lock. And giving reds more planes. Having to fly resupply missions to earn planes back is a waste of time for those of us that have a little time to fly. Just my 2 cents. I know our crew would enjoy reds more. Next round, blue for us though.
  4. Says the guy with 20 posts on here crying about guys crying. The irony. I have 2 explaining my opinion about the new rules. Don't come on here if you don't like a forum. My opinion is that of my 1st post. Leave the fields unlocked so wingman can join the fight quickly. Coordination is easier for the few that are on coms. Excessive death timers were my 2nd point. These are opinions of mine to make playing reds more enjoyable. Perhaps, a few more planes to keep reds flying.
  5. I switch sides with my boys every round. I get to experience both sides. Blue is easy with the way better planes. Even 1 v 2 reds is possible with good tactics and a sound machine. Flying red just 1v1 is very hard. No room for errors. Planes cant climb away, dive away, out turn or just about anything the 109s can do. No problem if we weren't running into 3v1 as I just did. Came into the AO at 5k, hit 2 109s before another 109 came up to me like nothing and chased be to the deck along with the 1st 2 109s I shot up. They finally get close enough to force me into a turn fight. Mig turned like a brick and the 109s quickly shot me to pieces. Then they came around and Jammer strafes me almost killing my pilot. This was after having the front line fields locked and flying across the map. My help you ask? Well they too were too busy flying across the map to be of any assistance. This is what the reds face in search of a fun mission. Just letting you know how missions go for reds and guys like Zammi just want them to keep logging on for this, yet he never flies reds lol. I will be more reluctant to go reds next time with these new rules in place. Bottom line, this needs to be fun for both sides.
  6. Some of the recent changes make it hard to want to play Reds. Fields closed down, ridiculous death timers, planes at start of TAW on red side suck. Alot of us have to work the next day and flying under these new conditions is not exactly fun. Plus, 15 minutes down really kills wanting to stick around for more. Wish it was back to the way it was to be honest. We'll see how it progresses as the red planes get better.
  7. Great to be back guys. 2 things that are killing the fun though. Please remove the 10-15 minutes death timer, these first maps are hard for reds and having to wait so long to get back in the action is discouraging. I am sure Germans would prefer planes getting back in the air asap. We want to fight each other, not sit doing nothing for 15 minutes. Also, please reconsider locking AF for spawns. This makes getting an air raid together very difficult. Before we could just roll off the spawn point a bit and another plan could spawn behind us. Thanks for your consideration.
  8. Beautiful work work guys. I am looking through these for inspiration for an oil painting.
  9. 34 year old U.S. resident willing to help with this project. Let me know.
  10. Hello, I was wondering if you guys could help me find more info on a 109 F2 that went down on the Russian front during 1941. I have come across some items from a 109 wreck. I would like to find as much info as I can on the pilots and his plane but have hit a dead end. I wish to preserve these items as best I can. Bf109 F2 6721 Ofw. Georg Mayr of 4./JG.52 Participated in combat operations over England in 1941, and the Soviet-German front in 1941, had 2 kills (Spitfires over England). August 11, 1941 Bf 109 F-2 W.Nr. 6721 "Weisse/White 5" was hit by fire from the ground from positions of Soviet troops. The plane fell in the northern part of Minyushi (south-west of the city of Novgorod, Russia) and died. I want to find more info on the pilot, camo, pics, and plane. I have talked to a few guys in groups with extensive knowledge of the Russian front but have had little success in finding more info. Do any of you have resources on finding such info? Thanks in advance. I attached some pictures so you can see some of the existing paint. SixFour

  12. I too came up short in 2 hours of Spitfire Spam fest. Very nimble. Had to disengage most of the time. The cannons are real thumpers too.
  13. We fly mostly German but we do switch over from time to time. We fly formation and use tactics with coms. Always welcome with us and we fly around the same time as you.
