Installation:
- Unzip these files into your Il-2 directory.

To remove:
- Delete these files from your Il-2 subdirectories (one solution is to unzip them again to install them overtop of the original files and then hit control+z)

Changes:
1) Trains take longer to come to a halt (i.e. actually take some time to brake).
2) Damage to the locomotive will cause the crew to bring the train to a halt (something more in-line with German wartime procedures - see notes)
3) Coaches and wagons will not detach until they are destroyed and the train will keep moving. In some cases coaches will also catch fire sooner (burning while still in motion) and have more passengers escape once halted.

Notes: The standard procedure was apparently to bring the locomotive to a halt and make as much steam as possible. This allowed anti-aircraft gunners to have a stable firing platform to defend the train and obscured the locomotive from view with steam. It also potentially avoided derailments while letting non-essential personnel bail-out. Note: I read this in a British report on the effectiveness of the RP-3 rocket against railway targets, but I can't remember the report number.
